How to calculate daily rental rate

Calculating your daily rate is super simple, and here’s how:

1: Take your salon rental, water and electricity
2: Divide your rental by 21 days (the number of working days you have per month)
3: Divide that by the number of work stations / chairs
4: This will give you a total per chair

Here’s an example:

Your rent, levies, electricity and water is R10 000 per month
When divided by your number of working days (for example: 21 days), this gives you your daily rental cost for your entire salon: R476,19 per day

Divide your daily rate (R476,19) by the number of workstations in your salon (for example; 3 workstations) equals R158,73 per chair per day.
